How to Know if Your Dog Has Been Poisoned With 1080

Dog’s in particular, show noticeable signs of ingestion within 30 minutes, although in some cases it may take up to 6 hours to show. These symptoms include vomiting, shaking, anxiety, disorientation and these symptoms unfortunately further develop into frenzied behaviour including running/screaming fits, drooling, uncontrolled paddling and seizures, followed by a total collapse and death. This pure AGONY may continue for up to 48 hours. If you notice any of these symptoms in your companion animal, seek medical attention immediately. Unfortunately, euthanasia is often the only choice to ease the suffering.
